Tottenham could be set for double swoop for AS Roma duo Miralem Pjanic and Erik Lamela

Roma’s director of football is in London…but the exact reasons remain unknown.
AS Roma director of football Walter Sabatini is in London, possibly to discuss the sales of Erik Lamela and Miralem Pjanic to Tottenham, according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
Di Marzio, who works for Sky Italia, says Sabatini could meet his Spurs counterpart Franco Baldini, who left the Stadio Olimpico to join the North London outfit earlier this summer.

However, it is also possible that Sabatini is meeting with Southampton over the imminent sale of striker Pablo Osvaldo.
Tottenham have been linked with a £50m double mid for playmaker Pjanic and winger Lamela, two of Roma’s stand-out players last term.
